Zettlex is a sensors company.

Our sensors measure position or speed accurately in harsh conditions - hence our motto - 'Precision in the Extreme'. We:

- design and make position/speed sensors
- supply sensor components
- develop sensors and control systems to customer requirements.

Zettlex sensors use a unique, inductive technology whose main components are printed circuits.

This enables thin, lightweight but robust sensors with no contacts, no bearings, no delicate parts, no maintenance, no bother.....just accurate measurements - all day, every day.

We sell sensors to OEMs and system integrators in a wide range of sectors including industrial, defence, aerospace, medical, oil & gas.

Most of our business is the design and manufacture of sensors to suit specific OEM requirements in position measurement, user interfaces, servo controls & motor encoders.

Zettlex sensors come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes including linear transducers, rotary encoders, 2D & 3D sensors, multi-turn, tilt, weight, pressure, vibration, strain and flow sensors.

Zettlex inductive sensors are an economical and highly reliable alternative to potentiometers, optical encoders, resolvers, RVDTs, LVDTs, magnetic sensors and capacitive encoders.

Zettlex is ISO 9001 and BS EN 13980 certified for the design and manufacture of inductive position sensors.

This includes intrinsically safe ATEX transmitters and position feedback controls for potentially explosive environments.
