There are 300 species of rattan in the world, but only 51 species can be used as a Tools & Furniture. In Indonesia, rattan can be found in Kalimantan island, Sulawesi island & Sumatra island. There are a lot of species in Kalimantan island. Kalimantan famous rattan are Segah rattan, Bujung rattan, Bulu rattan & Semambu rattan. Dayak占� long time ago has used rattan for their equipment, such us babies carrier, mats and many others. They develop their cane work skill into hundred motif.
