Vcare, one of the leading Indian Health & Wellness Group, Started its journey in the year 1997 with a small beauty salon in Pondicherry. From then on, within a short span, Vcare established 14 Trichology clinics spread across the states of Tamilnadu, Andra Pradesh, Karnataka and the Union territory of Pondicherry.

Research & Development
Vcare has a fully equipped research and development centre at Chennai under the banner of Vcare Trichological Research Centre. This centre has facilities for lab scale formulations, pilot manufacturing, analytical testing, stability studies and clinical trials.
Vcare Trichological Research centre is conducting researches in various disciplines like Trichology, Dermal care, Weight Management, Wellness, etc., The research centre has developed more than 100 products related to hair care, hair treatments, skin care, skin treatments, weight management and general wellness. Clinical treatment methodologies for hair & skin disorders have also been developed by the research centre. The research centre has applied for a patent for one of its products and has 2 international publications to its account. Novel aesthetic and hair growth treatment techniques like Platelet Rich Plasma therapy, Stem cell mesotherapy and Stem cell transplantation are in the final stages of research.
The research Centre has developed a nutritional supplement Hair Vital, in technical collaboration with Carotech Inc, a US nutraceutical major. This supplement is very effective in controlling hair fall and promoting hair growth.

Manufacturing
Vcare has also established a state of art manufacturing facility in the name of Vcare Pharcos to manufacture various personal care and treatment products. This facility is capable of manufacturing different types of products like creams, lotions, gels, serums, vitalizers, pastes and shampoos. The unit has a bulk manufacturing capacity of 100 tonnes per month.
This manufacturing facility is equipped with packaging options like tube filling, container filling, sachet filling, ampoule filling, vial filling, etc.

Vcare Pharcos is a Halal India and ISO 9001 : 2008 certified. This facility is also in the process of acquiring ISO 22716 certification for Good Manufacturing practices.

Vcare Herbal Concepts (P) Limited is the distribution and retail division of Vcare group retailing the brands Vcare and Oriyanna across the three states with 25000 outlets.
