In a joint venture with China North Vacuum Technology Co. LTD., ULVAC, Inc. established a new company in Shenyang City, Liangning China, with the aim of producing general industrial vacuum furnaces. The company is to be known as ULVAC Vacuum furnace (Shenyang) Co. Ltd. The company has a capital of $U58 million, 70% provided by ULVAC and 30% by China North Vacuum Technology Co.LTD. The manufacture, sales and post sales service of vacuum furnaces such as vacuum fusion furnace and vacuum heat-treatment furnaces already be conducted at the new plant.
