In the same time, a new era of digital network economy is approaching.In the digital world various FPDs(Flat Panel Displays) such as TFT-LCD, PDP and HD-Projection TV are being developed and applied in everyday life. It is projected that FPD market is outrunning semi-conductor market and the competitions in developing the peripheral parts to dominate the world market is becoming severe. As one of the important part material, optical plastic sheets or films became prerequisite to TFT-LCD products. The sheets and films should be accurate and have special functions, so it became high value added parts with rapid growth rate. These optical materials have been dominated by Japanese manufacturers. Recently local companies started to develop the materials but due to high technical barrier they are faced with many difficulties.We, TRONEL established in Oct. 2002 have developed a new in-line plane micro roll coating method based on our unique technology development ability in the high transparent Top Primer Coating industry. The method also includes coating machines and 10 class clean room in the core zone, developed by TRONEL. The clean room adopted down flow type which is applied only to high purity clean rooms. We are confident that the quality of our clean room will be superior to that of semi-conductor clean rooms.
