Company Description

The Manual Company was established in 1985. The whole company counts over 120 employees, of which 50 are working in production. Among the designs we work on are products designs, graphic solutions for boxes, paper bags, declarations, etc., interior and exterior designs for our shops (there are six of them , four in the Novi Sad centre, and the other two in Belgrade). We also lead our own marketing campaigns (audio and video presentations, billboardsâ¦)We are free to claim that we are specialized in manufacturing products made of vegetable tanned leather. Our machines, skilled employees and the design itself are having a maximum derived from the leather we are working with. Apart from a fashionable approach to design of our products, we try to maintain a traditional one as well. Thatâs why we are finding our main inspiration in the 19th and the 20th century, which we consider the most charismatic periods of human history for providing us all the elements used in design today worldwide.Collecting antiquities, from mostly regional history, for decorating our shops, we collected over 150 000 items, which resulted in establishment of the first private museum in Serbia after Second World War, M.F.A.M. (Manual Forgotten Arts Museum- registrated trade mark). Main focus of the museum is very characteristic and it is industrial heritage which is unfortunately undeveloped and unsupported in our country, while being highly developed in the rest of the world. Nevertheless we have drawn the attention to ourselves with the results of our 20 years long collecting activity, therefore presenting it with few successful events.Our work is supported by many people who are the most respected in their domain of profession. The visit they paid to our company left a strong impression on them, because they had a chance to witness our way of work with combining two concepts â manufacture and museum.
