The secret behind Emphatex technology is a proprietary formula of super hydrophilic polymer modifiers that creates a stronger-than-normal osmotic pressure gradient. This actually attracts water vapour molecules to the coating, wicks them across the membrane by molecular action, and passes them through to the exterior visually akin to how water movers up a towel when dipped in water.
