Techniweld applies the most common forms of welding that is available in the welding and fabrication engineering industry. These include, but are not limited to:â¢arc welding (MMA, SMAW Shielded Metal Arc Welding or sometimes also called stick welding)â¢MIG welding (GMAW Gas Metal Arc Welding and often in South Africa it is called co2 welding)â¢Flux cored arc weldingâ¢TIG welding (Tungsten Insert Gas Welding or GTAW Gas Tungsten Arc Welding)â¢Oxyacetylene gas welding (gas welding)â¢Spot weldingâ¢Cast iron weldingâ¢Butt weldingAlthough we prefer to carry out our welding services at our factory we do offer welding on site. We are able to weld material like:â¢Mild steelâ¢Low carbon and low alloy steelâ¢Medium and high carbon steelâ¢Stainless steel (austenitic type, martensitic, and Ferritic)â¢Aluminiumâ¢Alloy steelsâ¢Copperâ¢Cast iron welding and refractory metals weldingâ¢and basically any form of steel that may be required.
