Company Description

“Tamara Fruit” CJSC was founded in 2002. It is situated in v. Karbi, Aragatsotn marz. It’s total area is 37.2 ha. It is the first and unique enterprise in Armenia producing deep frozen fruit, berries and vegetables. At the same time the company produces juices and compotes, fruit and vegetable preserves and jams. Starting 2004 company parallel with traditional production took measures and settled ecologically pure (organic) products (frozen products, canned fruits). Tamara Fruit has 24.5 ha land from which 20 ha is fruit gardens (apricot, peach, sour cherry). Since 2005 the gardens are under the monitoring of “Ecoglobe” LLC. Fruits and production received from those fruits beginning from 2008 will receive European organic certificate.Basic raw material for the production is wild berries: blackberry, rose-hip, sea buckthorn, and organic certified apricots, peaches and raspberry. Wild berries are collected from primeval forests and fields of alpine meadow away from densely populated towns and industrial areas.Cultivated raw material (apricot, peach, and raspberry) is collected from the orchards under the inspection and control of the international accredited certificated company “Ecoglobe” LLC. The organic variety is the following:•Natural freshly squeezed juices (blackberry, raspberry) without any additives (sugar, preservatives, water etc)•Juices with pulp-nectars (apricot, peach, sea-buckthorn and rose-hip) are processed using ecologically certified pure honey instead of traditional disaccharide (sugar), due to which original taste and treatment-and-preventive properties are reached. • IQF berries and fruits (blackberry and raspberry, apricot and peach).
