About AyurVeda
Ayurveda is an ancient system of health care that is native to the Indian subcontinent. The word "Ayurveda" is a tatpurusha compound of the word ayus meaning "life" or "life principle", and the word veda, which refers to a system of "knowledge". Thus "Ayurveda" roughly translates as the "knowledge of life".
About Dhanvantri
We Dhanvantri are a group which promotes Ayurveda medicines and have a well known Vaidyars (Ayurveda gurus) as panel members,
Dhanvantri wants to promote herbal health world wide, and make ayurveda products avilable to end users directly from Vaidyars.
Vaidyars come from Traditional families and have forefathers in same profession.
Ayurveda is misused by many companies who manufacture products using chemicals and add perfumes to make spurious products, therby harming both customers as well as for reputaion of Ayurveda.
Currently we plan to supply small quantities of Herbal Hair Oils directly from Cottage industry to End users.
The product will have no Eye catching packaging or artificial colourings, Just product straight from Village industry the herbs are collected from well known deep forests of Kerala and Karntaka.
Our aim is to promote awareness of Ayurveda within India and abroad and to give Hereditary practioners a good exposure to outside world, and serve public with good response and service.
Our products may look raw but is free of Modern day chemicals and unsafe method of preparing in bulk quantities,
Products are manufactured under strict vigilance of Vaidyar and takes tedious process in keeping a watch of slow manufacturing process.
Nothing is made in hurry or in very bulk quantity, no compromises are made to make product cost effective.

About Gurukul System
In this system, the Guru gave a solemn address where he directs the students to a life of chastity, honesty, and vegetarianism. The student is to strive with all his being to heal the sick. He should not to betray patients for his own advantage. He is required to dress modestly and avoid alcohol or drugs.
