Company Description

Saim Glass Industry Co., Ltd. was established on June 30, 1977 with an initial registered capital of 70 million baht. The company produces and distributes glass bottle without cap (both flint and amber), specializing in pharmaceutical (15ml-450ml), food and beverage (200ml-750ml). SGI operates two manufacturing plants, the original plant in Samutprakarn province, which commenced operations in 1978 and a new plant in Ayutthaya province, which commernced operation in 2005. The company draws on technical expertise form Nihon Yamamura Glass Co., Ltd., the leadding glass manufacturer of Japan. In 2008, the furnace No.6 will become operational. The furnace will increase production capacity to 800, 000 tons per year, ensuring the company will be able to meet the growing demand for its products among the consumers.
