Shandong Yongsheng Rubber Group Co., Ltd. is located the Dawang Town Rubber Industrial Park in Guangrao County?which has ever won the honor of the Star Town and is also the hometown of Sun Wu, an ancient Chinese military strategist who authored the Art of War. Founded in 1986, the company incorporates the development, production, and sales of a range of radial tires under the ?Yongsheng?, ?Qichuang?, and ?Bowei? brands. Now, the company is provided with the world?s leading tooling, testing instruments, and production equipment, which are mostly imported from Japan, the United States and Germany, and thus enable a high level of automation and low degree of labor intensity. In 2002, the company invested a total of RMB 600 million in building a wholly-owned subsidiary with an annual output of 1.2 million units of steel cord radial tires, and then in 2006, the company invested a total of RMB 900 million in building a plant for manufacturing radial ply tires to be used in high-end trucks and cars.
