Servicios de Mesa de Guernica is the story of a company with its heart, body and soul dedicated to the manufacture of quality cutlery products.Continuing a cutlery tradition born in 1917 in Gernika, one of Europeâs major tableware producing cities during the twentieth century, the company moves forward with hope and optimism for the future. At present, its efforts, market know-how and capacity for innovation and development has resulted in a product marked by its uniqueness and excellence.The merger in 2008 of the companies Dalia - which had already acquired Meneses - and Cruz de Malta was the starting point of an ambitious strategic plan: the only two factories in Gernika came together to create a more competitive company that shares synergies, production processes and a common development project. This is significant milestone in the track record of an exclusive product line, leading to maximum quality and greater market presence.We are the reference point for cutlery in the hospitality industry, a product that combines tradition and modernity.With over 75 employees and the renewal of our management team and Innovation Department, Servicios de Mesa de Guernica has designed new projects and challenges in order to provide solutions in a demanding market.The new facilities in the industrial area of Txaporta are a milestone in the companyâs century-old history. Opened in late 2010, they are part of a major financial investment.This investment took the form of a new building with 6, 750 m2 for production and storage, and 750 m2 of office space, with the renovation of machinery, installation of new robotic equipment and implementation of a new workstation for product design and innovation.
