SAGAR MINING & METALS INDUSTRIES (SMMI), came into existence in the year of 2000. As there is a saying if you want to shift the mountain, start with stone. SMMI started actual working in the year 2000-01. But there is always a dream and zeal to grow on national and international level. Simultaneously studies were going on for diff. products and finally decided to deal in minerals likeIron ore, Manganese ore, Manganese ore Fines, lime stone, Rusted Manganese ore & its Fines, Manganese Low Carbon, Manganese Medium Carbon, Mno, etc and very soon we became one of the leading Mining and Metals suppliers in India.


SMMI is thankful to many companies, who had demanded more competitive prices than available in market in minerals field and due to narrow margin to work and determination showed the tricks of trade. As SMMI is supplying minerals to various steel industries and exporters on commission basis, turnover is not as high as compare to business that SMMI has done. SMMI has proved that nothing is impossible until we have hopes and the confidence to learn. Every company is satisfied with SMMI in this field, so SMMI has reached this level and achieved awards on national and international levels.


Other than India, foreign companies also know SMMI as trusted supplier of minerals. As per SMMI it is not necessary that you deal with every company, what is important is that how you present yourself and try to make successful deals with a selected few. SMMI never ran after deals, it has always tried to prove itself as a faithful supplier and it opts for name, not money. SMMI first preference is to gain name and trust of the companies who come in contact with it. So SMMI has not done many deals but has done very few but successful deals. Sagar Mining and Metals Industries sole aim is to make a space in international business with honor by giving pure and transparent business. In coming years, SMMI aim is to spread this business in different countries and get new additions in the same field.

The project had been initiated to set up a small-scale industry at nayagarh Area, joda, orissa , India for manufacturing wide range of Ferro Alloys to cater the needs of steel plants. The well organized team of technically experienced personnel and a competent batch of non-technical enthusiastic & experience personnel started this manufacturing business & at the moment producing Medium Carbon & Low Carbon Ferro Manganese & other Noble Alloys of various specifications (as per customer) , since February 2001.

ACHIVEMENTS: Export enquiries are being processed for supplying the products to Overseas customers.
