Company Description

Our company S.C.A.A. SAN FRANCISCO (Sociedad Cooperativa Agraria Andaluza SAN FRANCISCO) is a cooperative dedicated to the production of olive oil in Villanueva del Arzobispo, Jaen located in the Community of Andalucía in Spain. Our farmers work in a vast land of 600,000 acres with 60 millions of olive trees. At present, our factory covers an area of 51.000m2 with 28.000m2 of built space, enabling high standards of production of the olive oil. This along with our modern warehouses guarantees the proper conservation of the oil. In a period of five years, our cooperative mills an average of 35 million kilos of olives per year with an industrial olive oil production of approximately 22%, resulting in a yearly average of 7.7millions of kilos of olive oil. We pride ourselves in the quality of our oil which along with our competitive prices has placed our product in a very privileged position both locally and internationally, exporting each year millions of litters of oil to Italy, France, The United States and many more. Moreover, and unlike many traders, we do not import oil from other countries as our products are made directly by our farmers working in the olive fields. Currently, we can offer our clients three different brands of extra virgin olive oil: “Sierra de las Villas”, “Sol de las Villas”, and our very best “Oro de las Villas” limited production or as otherwise known: “the liquid gold” which has won awards guaranteeing its high quality.
