RYOR is the Czech Republic's biggest manufacturer of cosmetics. The products are based on natural substances and herb extracts. The products were originally intended for professional beauticians but due to strong demand the Company begun to supply the retail sector as well. Today, RYOR makes 38 products for the professionals and another 80 or so for retail.The important differentiating feature of RYOR cosmetics is the fact that they are based not only on oils and herbal extracts, but primarily on the skin protecting and anti-ageing properties of uniquely formulated gentle emulsions. The company uses herbs such as agrimony, marigold, comfrey, burdock root, seaweed but also wine and green tea. The products contain an exceptionally high percentage of non-traditional active substances such as Retinol, Marine Algae, Allantoin and Plant Proteins. RYOR combines the healing power of nature with the latest knowledge in cosmetology.The RYOR research department has a reputation for being innovative and also responding quickly to customer requirements by creating new products to meet changing market demands. For example, RYOR was the first cosmetic company in Europe to use Amaranth, a plant with anti-cancer properties. Amaranth oil contains Squalene, which has been proven to even regenerate highly sensitive skin damaged by radiotherapy. The RYOR laboratory was also one of the first to use sphingolipids and Liposome complex ASC III.RYOR cosmetics are well known for their optimum composition and a minimal level of preservation substances. They do not contain synthetic colours, lanolin, genetically modified products or animal products and are not tested on animals.RYOR has been granted many prestigious international awards for product quality, packaging and design.The Herbal cosmetics market is growing by 50-60% annually as opposed to 20% for the sector.
