Plants are located in Changwon and Uiwang. Central R&D center is located in Uiwang and Technology Research Institute is located in Yongin. Rotem manufactures all kinds of trains such as EMUs, high-speed trains, light rail vehicles, locomotives, passenger coaches, freight wagons and etc. with about 3,800 professionals including 600 R&D staffs.Rotem has been speeding up R&D activities to develop new products like magnetically levitated vehicle and applied new technology to all kinds of railway vehicles and is driving forward into the business of signaling, propulsion system, and system engineering too.
