Restoration House Jewelry is created by single, abandoned and abused impoverished women in Peru. This business is non-profit and was established in 2008. The purpose is to give a resource limited segment of women the opportunity to work for a fair wage and provide for themselves and their children. Established with the goal of giving these women opportunity to re-establish self-esteem and dignity for themselves and to care for their children adequately. The company provides childcare also in the same building making it possible for these women to work and care for their small children when necessary.Although currently small, we can produce in the neighborhood of 40 to 50 sets of handmade jewelry per week. All products are made using alpaca wire and each piece is handcrafted with love. With the right distributor our hope is to be able to expand this opportunity to include many more women.
