Since its beginning, âPurnima Collectionâ has been manufacturing different kinds of felt handicrafts (Merino wool) in a small workshop and sold them to local retailers and exporters. Now we have been started training and working with a people living with physical handicap, using their abilities to produce different kinds of Felt handicrafts and promoting their art and craftsmanship and in additional to employing physical handicap people, we are providing job opportunity and the marketing requirement of handicraft producers who are mainly women of urban and village having low income who bound to stay within the boundary of their houses . The crafts will be made using traditional and modern designs yet sticking to the age old tradition of felting.The goal of Purnima Collection and Care is to provide home and job opportunities to physically disabled youth, and sell the products manufactured by them. This will not only give them an employment opportunity but will also change their social standing and offer them a more respectable and dignified position within their family and society.
