PT RD Pacific International (PT RDPI)started its commercial operations in 2009. Situated in Bitung, Sulawesi Utara, Indonesia; the most populous Islam state in the world.PT RDPIis structured as a fully integrated company. It started with fishing operation and ice plant. The company was granted licenses to fish the archipelagic waters of Indonesia, with the presence of its own fishing fleet, dockyard and seaport. Together with the cold storage facility, our canning activity will start this 2014 which has the initial capacity to process 50 metric tons of tuna raw materials per day. It has facilities such as laboratories and equipments in accordance to world food quality and safety standards to ensure the company produce and deliver high quality tuna products for its customers worldwide. To support our tuna canning plant, PT. RDPI will start its can plant, carton converter and label printing operationsThe company produces two (2) main can sizes for the export market in its can making facility. The 1.88 kg (4 lbs) large catering cans and the 90-200 gm retail packs, mainly exported to Middle East, United States and European Union. Aside from canned tuna, it will diversify to other tuna products such as Pouch and Frozen loins in the near future.With the experienced gained  on its processing plants located in the Philippines and Papua New Guinea, combined with a 16-years of experience, international  exposures and new technologies applied, PT RDPI is highly competent in producing world class products.PT RDPIis one of the 38 widely diversified business units and operations of RD Corporation that span in the Philippines, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Netherlands and Australia.
