The company was incorported as a private limited company in 1978, with an issued and paid-up capital of $2.00 under the name of Poly Glass Fibre (M) Sdn Bhd.The company is principally involved in the manufacture of glasswool & related products.The company has been operating from its original four acre factory site comprising the factory with a total floor space of 2675.5 sq. meters, an office block with a total floor space of 557.4 sq. meters and warehouse with a total floor of 2403.9 sq. meters.Glasswool is essentially used for insulation purposes to keep out heat in high temperature environment and cold in low temperature situations for thermal confort.The product has excellent acoustical properties and is commonly used for sound absorption and sound transmission reduction.The company's product have been used in prestigious buildings, large multinational factories, hotels, airport termianls, and exhibition and convention centres.The respective uses for the products are as follows :1) Polyduct Duct Work SystemThis is a new developed fibreglass duct board product, without using the galvanized sheet.The result for the air erosion, friction loss, noise reduction, fire testing etc. are excellent.2) Poly Building InsulationIt is used for roofing insulations for modern factories and large commercial buildings for thermal & acoustical effects.3) PolywoolThese are used as air-conditioning duct wraps or as internal linings air air-conditioning units.4) Polytone Ceiling BoardThese are used in commercial or office buildings.5) Semi Rigid BoardThese are used as an insulating material in office / building partitions, wall cladding etc.6) BattsThese products are used for residential houses, office building etc.7) Rigid Pipe SectionThese are used as pipe cover for hot and cold water piping system.
