Pars Electerical Transmission Equipment Company (PARS ETE Co.) , as the first and only manufacturer of ZnO surge arresters in Iran, started to produce distribution class ZnO surge arresters under the license of ABB, in 1991. On 1997, Pars ETE developed its production line to produce station class surge arresters under the license of Siemens AG, Germany and has been the first and the only manufacturer of this type in Iran since then on.
Manufacturing more than 50, 000 arresters each year, PARS ETE is the major supplier of arresters for Iran Electricity industry, and is producing surge arresters up to 765kV according to IEC60099-4, in different categories as: low voltage, indoor (up to 36 kV) , porcelain housing and polymeric hosing.
Having the purpose of improving the quality and fulfilling customer's needs in mind, PARS ETE created its own laboratory in order to perform different kinds of routine or type tests on the produced surge arresters.
In 1999, PARS ETE got successful to catch ISO 9002 certificate from DQS company (Germany) and improved it to ISO9001: 2000 in 2003.
Keeping an eye to catch customers trust, PARS ETE caught type test certificate from ICPE lab in Romania for its porcelain and polymeric surge arresters. On the other hand, provides its customer with 5 year guarantee for its distribution class arresters.
