Company Description

Ormo is a fully integrated textile plant with scouring, combing, dying, spinning, balling, finishing, water purification and treatment facilities. We produce woolen, semi-worsted and worsted machine and hand knitting yarns. Our capacity is currently 1000-1250 tons per year in woolen and 6500-7000 tons per year in worsted/semi-worsted. Today, 70% of our production reaches over 50 different countries around the world. The factory has an approximate 80 000 sq. meters closed area on 160 000 sq. meters with over 1000 employees. Approximately 50% of the employees are minimum high school graduates with an average age around 30.We have been awarded ISO 9001-2000 quality certification. Twice a year, we participate in Pitti-Filati- Florence, Italy to present our Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer Collections. We also have started participating Spinexpo - Shangai, China as of 2004 to present our collection to the Asian Market.For machine knitting yarns, we focus on geelong lambswool, cashmere, angora, alpaca, camel hair, bamboo fibre, linen, viscose, polyamide and cotton blends. All yarns are suitable for machine washing and total easy care process. Stock service is available on some qualities; minimum 15 kg can be ordered for colours in stock. For regular qualities, minimum order quantity is 300 kg for melange colours and 15 kg for solid hank-dyed colours. Delivery terms are 4-8 weeks on average In addition to existing 150 different qualities, we are open to manufacture and design new yarns on customer request.For carpet yarn we mostly uses wool and wool blends. Yarn counts between Nm 3 to Nm 20.
