Company Description

Orengine was born in the second half of the Eighties, inside a multinational partnership project for the energy spread in the country areas, mainly financed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and by the Ministerio de Energia y Minas of Ecuador.Orengine;s first and most important purposes were projecting, building and commissioning small hydropower plants, mainly designed for isolated zones, typical of the developing countries.The technical and scientific structure of the project had been lined out, between the others, by the Engineering school of the University of Genoa, the Engineering school of the University of Milan (Politecnico), the "Escuela Politecnica of Quito and the Organizacion Latino-Americana de Energias (OLADE).Machineries, equipments, with related software, were developed and tested by qualified institutions and, in the meanwhile, attention were paid to introduce local industrial structures during the manufacturing process, either for cost reduction and to keep the product maintenance at least at a national level.So, during his first years, Orengine particularly supplied his products, besides of Italy, Europe andEcuador, in many Central and South America countries.Nowadays, Orengine works with the same method, thats to say collaborating with many partners located in foreign countries and in various geographical areas.
