Oakley Steel is a leading global distributor of carbon and low alloy steel plate for boilers and pressure vessels.
We focus on providing high quality European steel plate from stock to boiler and pressure vessel manufacturers, fabricators and E and C companies in the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions.
Quality matters to us in our steel, which all comes from EU mills, in the service we provide to you, and the finished products of which our steel forms part.
We specialise in pressure vessel quality plate for corrosive environments, where hydrogen induced cracking resistance is important, and chrome molybdenum plate for high temperature applications.
We supply A 516 in grades 60 and 70, with impact and ultrasonic testing as required; and in grades 60, 65 and 70. A 387 is supplied in grades 5, 11, 12 and 22 all as class 2.
We also supply a variety of plates for other applications including shipbuilding, construction and where wear and abrasion resistance is important.
Our customers work to demanding requirements with high specifications. Oakley Steel helps them meet these specifications with our focus on high quality steel. Our steel is rolled in Germany, France, Belgium or the UK, with a lesser amount from other European countries, and is selected so that the toughest engineering specifications can be met.
Our customers support a number of markets. Many fabricate systems and subsystems for the oil and gas industry with the very tough safety and quality standards that industry requires. Other customers build ships, cranes and the machinery and plant used in the mining and extractive industries. We also supply the construction industry with a variety of steel plates.
