Mizaat is a brand launched by designer Rashmi Bisht. Mizaat as the words stand is the designers dream to take Indian fashion to a new platform. Taking the basic Indian garment and giving it a contemporary touch.
Mizaat is about contemporary India. Label is inspired by the women who are creative and loves to experiment. Women who are confident about their style, who love the element of bizzare.
Inspiration is all from Indian soil but with a twist. Its about that abundance of colours and life that flows from a dilapidated pictures, mixing of those greys and colours of imagination and dressing up women.
The designer has tried to connect the brand to her roots by giving it a traditional name from her native lingo. Mizaat means 'fashion' in kumaoni language (the region where the designer hails from). And she has some great plans to revive the art form of that region in near future.
