Company Description

We started off in 1992 with the production and subsequent processing of a polyethylene foam called Mirelon"R". We then added the production of extruded polystyrene. We went from manufacturing extruded polystyrene to a wide assortment of mats for under floating floors called Starlon"R". The logical next step was to expand production to include polystyrene food trays, and meal boxes and lunchboxes. The latest enlargement of the company's portfolio involved commencing production of PVC stretch film for food wraps, of which Mirel Trading a.s. is the only manufacturer in the Czech Republic. Together with PVC stretch film for food wraps and polystyrene bowls, packaging machines form the comprehensive range of food packaging available from Mirel Trading a.s. Today, our company is a leading European manufacturer of thermal insulation, building insulation, industrial packaging, packaging for food wraps and sports accessories. Our manufacturing facility covers more than 57, 000 m2. Customers consider Mirelon"R" and Starlon"R" to be tried and tested brands synonymous with high quality products. They are newly joined by the PVC stretch film for food products Basic"R" and Fresh'n'Roll"R".
