The Government of Madhya Pradesh has establish the Minor Forest Produce Processing and Research Centre (MFPPARC) with its product branded as "Vindhya Herbals"
Minor Forest Produce Processing and Research Centre (MFP-PARC) is one of the major herbal processing centre set up by MFP Federation. Federation has tried successfully to synergize the efforts of various governmental and semi government agencies for Non-timber forest produces (NTFP) development program in establishing this centre.
Situated in Bhopal the capital of Madhya Pradesh, one of the most forested state of India, it is an ISO 9001:2008, EMS: 14000 and GMP certified herbal pharmaceutical manufacturing unit recognized by both Government of India as well as Government of Madhya Pradesh.
Vindhya Herbal believes that naturally grown and wild-harvested herbs of the highest quality would have a positive effect on people's health. Creating products with well thought out formulations and using "better than organic" herbs has given Vindhya Herbal a respected reputation among its consumers.
The herbs that are used in Vindhya Herbal products are comes from the forest of Madhya Pradesh. Vindhya Herbal is committed to share these best quality products with consumers to make their life happier, healthier and life with the use of "Nature's Purity".
Vindhya Herbal is establish to do processing and value-addition of NTFP based raw materials into Ayurvedic proprietary and classical drugs, nutraceuticals and herbal cosmetics products. Vindhya Herbal (MFP-PARC) is also engaged in creating awareness for the conservation of wild wealth of NTFP and Medicinal & Aromatic Plants. This centre is also supporting forest dependent communities to enhance their livelihood by assisting them through sustainable harvesting, primary processing and marketing of NTFPs.

The State of Madhya Pradesh is endowed with a rich and varied expanse of natural resources. The abundant natural resources play an important role in fulfilling the livelihood needs of people dwelling in and around forests. Owing to ever increasing anthropogenic pressure, coupled with erratic exploitation regime, these resources are facing irreversible depletion. Madhya Pradesh Minor Forest Produce(Trading & Development) Co-operative Federation Ltd. is working to ensure that precious natural resources can be protected and harvested in sustainable manner.


To ensure village empowerment, to provide structure for medicinal plants processing and value addition, to provide quality raw material of medicinal and aromatic plants, and to impart technical and economical impetus, M.P.State Mandi Board along with M.P. State Minor Forest Produce Federation financed a project in the year 2002-2003 under which Minor Forest Produce Processing and Research Centre (MFP-PARC) has taken its shape at Barkheda Pathani, Bhopal. Stimulate and strengthen the partnership between Government, Herbal Industries, Scientific community and collectors/farmers to protect, promote and project traditional herbal healthcare systems and products.

Developing better technology for primary processing, value addition and packaging of MAP & its products to help its farmers/collectors increase their income.
To provide facility of laboratory testing for MAP to farmers/cultivators and small processors at very reasonable charges.
Spreading awareness of non destructive harvesting techniques to the collectors of MAP.
Research and development in this sector.
Developing marketing-system for raw material of medicinal and aromatic plants.
