ME-VE TRADE was established in ORDU in 1985 concentrating on hazelnut brokerage in domestic and international markets. The owner of the company; Mr. Vasfi EMECAN worked for over 20 years in Fiskobirlik, a state run corporation for hazelnut processing and marketing, before retiring in 1980 as Vice President responsible from international marketing.



Our local reputation couple with over 15 years of experience in hazelnut trade has been the genuine foundation of ME-VE Trade as we decided to enlarge our clientee base to overseas markets. Therefore, in 1996, we opened our Istanbul office to provide brokerage services for international clients who are in need of consistent quality service and dependable source. Our overseas coverage mainly concentrates on European markets, but also includes Far East and American markets.



ME-VE TRADE is on the world wide web since September 1999 providing valuable information to create more efficient information flow. This information would include daily, up-to-date market information, current prices (both domestic and export), weather conditions and developments in the market which are all utmost important in the pricing evaluation of the hazelnut market.
