The Real Ancient Maca, that only grows above the 3,800 meters above the sea level is that; the amount of its nutrient contents may vary year to year due to several factors; among them, the main ones are, the amount of rain fallen, how low and how long the freezing period lasted, how intese the solar activity was, as well as the type ground; because each year, the Maca should be planted on virgin soils, (with no chemicals as fertilizers or pest controls), which varies from one place to another; after each harvest, the area is left without planting more Maca for a period of 5 years to let the land to naturally recover, as this is a certified natural product, by the BCS OKO GARANTIE (Code-Nr.: DE-001-Oko-Kontrollstelle SENASA PE – 01 – 2009)Bebidas Interandinas SAC (BISAC) is one of the companies in Peru that guaranties, the great care, and the fully organically consideration given to its products, which is been followed up by the Union for Ethical Bio Trade Organization.For the past 6 to 8 moths we have been focused on developing a major breakthrough in Maca products, like for example a gelatinized concentrated Maca with high contents of “Glucosilonates”. Unfortunately we’ve been successful only on laboratory samples, while taking it to an industrial scale production with local equipment the most especial component was diminished due to the lack of technology on the machinery in Peru. We are working in its development with a mayor European Equipment Manufacturer in this matter, to bring a better enhanced product for your purchase; in the meantime we have the previous step, “powder Maca”, with the care and certifications that no other Maca supplier can offer.
