Created in 1954, MAINE SAWMILLS are specialized in logging European hardwood, mainly White and Red Oak and Beech.

MAINE SAWMILLS source the logs from the best forests in neighbourhood areas and offers a large volume in quality like: Veneer, Staves, Sawing, Building material and Lumbers as Boules, Un-edged, edged and elements.

We are able to offer Beech un-steamed and steamed, Sleepers and Packing.

With the aim to satisfy our customers, MAINE SAWMILLS have dynamic and experienced staff.

We are here to guarantee the best customer service for the Domestic and International Market.

MAINE SAWMILLS work over 70 000 m3 of logs per year, and sells 10 000 m3 of logs and 20 000 m3 of lumbers.

80% of our diverse products exported to: Australia; New-Zealand; Malaysia; Japan; China; India; Morocco, and Europe MAINE SAWMILLS at present boast an infrastructure of 80 000 m2.

Our sizable warehouse (20 000 m2) provides ideal storage in order to keep dry our lumbers in the best conditions.

In addition to three traditional Kilns with a capacity of 350 m3, we also have two Steaming Rooms for Beech (Capacity 70 m3), and soon we will add one Vacuum Dryer (Capacity of 500 m3).

Kindly note that since 2004 MAINE SAWMILLS are certified according to PEFC standards. We ensure that the origin of our material is sourced from well-managed forests.
