Since Kwang Ho Precision co. has been founded in 1995, it has contributed continuously to develop new processes and die design technology for advanced cold and warm forgings. Based on rich practical experience and know-how, it succeeded in the development forging dies for automobile parts which were imported from other countries. The amount of products by cold and warm forging in automotive industries is increasing and the product shape is being close to net shape.Kwang Ho have supplied our forging dies not only to major Korean motor companies, such as Hyundai, Daewoo, Kia, Samsung but also to 30 as the technology aiming at the production of net-shape or near net-shape components with normally not simple geometries by basic cold-forging cold forming will have to with stand even higher stresses and consequently, wear than tools for cold forming of the same materials, in general.The optimization of the cold-forging process including material and lubrication, the following design add manufacture of the precise tool etc, is a prerequisite for the successful production. We use the appropriate interpretation of data from FEM simulation to improve die and process design. As a result, it is possible to achieve cost reduction and improvements in the quality of formed parts.
