Karagen Indonesia started to business in 2004, the main factory located in Semarang, Central java, Indonesia. It's about 20,000 m2 with 60 employees to produce Carrageenan from raw material to the finest products.At the beginning when Mr. Ridy Purnama established the company, CV. Karagen Indonesia (KaraIndo) only produced Semi Refined Carrageenan, but now after doing research and development with hi-tech for years, we also produced: Carrageenan for meat process, Carrageenan for jelly, Carrageenan for pet food and semi-refined iota carrageenan.Raw materials to produce Carrageenan is a seaweed Eucheuma Cottonii and Eucheuma Spinosum that grow in Indonesian waters. Our company is very competitive because there are many farms in our area and indeed we have our own farms. So the existence of raw materials is guaranteed.So far, our goods are exported to Europe, the Philippines and China. In addition there are also sales to the local market.We are still looking to expand our marketing to different world.
