Company Description

Kai Tai has been a multi-layer pipe and fittings manufacturer since 1989.

Kai Tai Pipe consists of an aluminum tube with overlap welding laminated between two layers of PE material; the overlap welding technology allows a stronger binding strength than butt welding. The exterior PE layer protects the pipe from corrosion. The interior PE layer keeps water cleaner while insulating the aluminum, so as to prolong the pipe's lifespan. PE and aluminum layers are bonded together with a special adhesive that withstands both low and high temperature and bending of pipe.

Kai Tai hot water pipe is manufactured with XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) for water temperature up to 95 Celsius; Kai Tai cold water pipe is manufactured with HDPE (high density polyethylene) for water temperature up to 60 Celsius.

Kai Tai pipe is light, strong, flexible, non-toxic and non-corrosive; the pipe is suitable for indoors and outdoors installation of home, commercial building, radiant under floor heating, air condition cooling, and high tech optic fiber tube. Kai Tai pipes are available in sizes of 1216, 1418, 1620, 2025, and 2532.

Kai Tai cross-linked polyethylene PEX-b pipe achieved German Industry Standard (DIN 16892/3) and International Standard (ISO/DIS15875-2.2-99) that it takes the lead in the industry pass 10,000 hours thermo stability test and 5,000 times cold & hot water circulation test. Currently are available in 16-mm and 20-mm two sizes.

To satisfy the demand of the market and improve the technical aspects of the fitting, which can be used with PEX-AL-PEX and PEX pipes, Kai Tai's technical team has successfully developed the brass COMPRESSION AND CRIMP fitting systems since 1990. For which we are holding the exclusive patent for this system (China #ZL93206405.1, German # 29706719.2.) The materials of he fitting are Brass C36000 & C37700, and we are exporting these connectors to North America market with NSF, CSA and IAPMO marking.

We have spent the last sixteen years concentrating in developing the Greater China market. Currently, we have manufacturing facilities for both pipes and fittings in China and Taiwan. All manufacturing, laboratory equipments and raw materials are imported from either Europe or North America. Our facilities have passed ISO 9001; our composite pipes and fittings meet with the ASTM F1281, F1282 and F1974 requirements. In terms of awards, our products have gained titles such as the preferred Building Material and Best Consumer Satisfaction from the China Federal Building Department.
