Company Description

The history of the company dates back to the year of 1948, when Mr Heebak Song , ex-chairman, founded the company named "Daechang jangryusa". Since then the company has steadily gained a nationwide reputation as a forerunner for the taste of "Jang", which is the term for fermented products made from soybean. Currently, the company is highly credited with second-to-none products quality and customer service, based on honesty and credibility as the company's managerial principle. In 1967 the company name changed to "Jinmi Food Industry", and at the same time registered its product brand name as "Jinmi". In 1985 the company moved to Yonggae-ri near Daejeon, which has been the current factory location since, and changed its name again to "Jinmi Foods Inc". Then the company invested in setting up state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, aiming at future expansion initiated by the current chairman Mr.In-Sup Song. In 1997 the company came up with a new family brand "Charmgrow" and introduced a variety of new items such as rice hot pepper paste. Jinmi is known for its long-standing commitment to the traditional Korean taste of "Jang" products. Its taste has been inherited from one generation to the next. In 1998, the company celebrated the 50th anniversary of the foundation. The company meets diversified customer needs by producing differentiated top-quality "Jang" products made from all-natural and first-class raw materials. Its quality system has been acknowledged with the ISO 9001 quality system mark.
