Company Description

(IPPNZ) was formed in 2009 to primarily trade in logs and to provide logistics services into the Asia Pacific, Indian and other Markets.  We also offer services to would be forest buyers in New Zealand helping them to find, analyse and ultimately secure stumpage (standing trees) which are ready or near ready for harvest.  After any successful stumpage acquisition we also offer management services to the new owner(s) if these are required. The company has a small highly experienced team of staff, with offices in Auckland, Tauranga and Gisborne in New Zealand. Our log export volumes are currently running at 120,000 JASm3 annually, with a stable supply group that includes a number of significant forest owners and management companies. Export operations in New Zealand are concentrated out of the North Island ports of Auckland and Tauranga but we also ship from other ports like Napier and Wellington from time to time. Our shipping is primarily performed by the use of standard shipping containers and via this method we can offer solutions to almost any port in Asia, India and the Middle East. Our shipping frequency can be as often as weekly if required and the minimum order quantity (MOQ) is 10 x 40'containers per consignment so a relatively small volume of logs compared to the typical "bulk vessel" option.  By using shipping containers our customers require significantly less capital invested in logs at any one time and due to shipping frequency lower log inventories are required at the destination(s) also.  We strive to meet our customer’s demands and through our log supply base and the shipping solution that we use can ensure a regular, efficient and cost effective result for all parties.
