About us
Imexco is a leading Supply Chain Manager and provider of Forestry Materials. We operate in 5 countries for 20 products sourced from 4 origin countries and market them to over 100 customers in India & ASEAN countries.

Heritage
Since our establishment in 2006, we have stayed focused on this single Forestry-based-Materials asset class and, within that, built a diversified and relatively recession resilient portfolio, largely comprising industrial raw materials. In addition, the nature of our participation in this industry, mainly as a supply chain manager earning a predictable, fee quality income, has helped us develop a business model that performs consistently across both economic and commodity cycles.
Imexco International is promoted up by Samir Agarwal, a first generation entrepreneur, who, as a Senior Management professional in MNCs & Medium Sized Corporations, has spent almost three decades in International Trade as well as holding responsibility for manufacturing and profitability of businesses in India and overseas.
Our vision is to be a leading, global, integrated supply chain manager and processor of Forestry based Materials by serving our strong grower and customer franchise globally; pursuing select scalable and attractive niches in upstream and midstream value added processing; and capitalising on our emerging market expertise.

Business & Growth Strategy

Our growth strategy in the first 5 years has been driven by a clear focus on our core business and a systematic and repeatable formula for adjacency expansion based on that core.

We have grown over by taking advantage of adjacent opportunities in business which share geographies, channels, suppliers and customers, acquiring new competencies. We have evolved from a one product business to a business spread with 20 products across 5 countries in South & East Asia.

We have consistently exceeded the expectations of our stake holders by leveraging our knowledge, capabilities and skill sets to create a competitive advantage which has helped us to grow and well on the way to building leadership positions.

In 2006, Imexco was established, primarily, to source Gum Rosin out of Indonesia. Within a year the business was expanded to include Gum Turpentine and Oleo Pine Resin. The success of this operation resulted in Imexco establishing sourcing points all across Indonesia, spreading to Vietnam & China.

We are today a leading supply chain manager and supplier of Forestry based materials from farm to factory gate, with leadership positions in many of these businesses, including Gum Rosin, Gum Damar, Damar Batu, Gum Copal, Joss Powder, Bamboo Sticks and Incense Sticks .We are suppliers to some of the most prominent Companies in India and South East Asia, offering them reliability, consistency, trust, traceability, and other value added services.
