The company has approx. 330ha in land area, 4000 staff members in Dezhou operation and more than 50000 employees nationwide. According to 2004 statistics, Himin Group manufactured 1 million units/sets of product and became the largest solar energy product manufacturing base and clean energy supplier in the world. The company was among the top 30 private enterprises in terms of taxation, one of top 5 of influential brands of household electric appliance across the country and the exclusive "Chinese famous Trademark" in solar energy industry and its brand was valuated of RMB5.1 billion Yuan. The Group has dozens of subordinates and branches at home and abroad, such as solar water heater factory, vacuum tubing plant, electronic apparatus plant, win pin energy-saving glass company, photovoltaic business department, construction business department, ECS business department, solar energy real estate company, Nanjing electronic research institute, central research institute, Europe R&D center, etc. The Group has recently undertaken on four national projects under 863 Plan, owned nearly 200 patents, established independent intellectual property system and entered into photovoltaic, winpin energy-saving glass, solar energy integration building and other fields to produce solar water heater, vacuum heat collection tubing, large solar energy water heating system, Dongguan household water heating center and similar series products which have won dozens of national prizes. During 4th China International Residence Industry Exhibition, Himin Solar and its building integration heat collector won the prize of technology and product innovation issued by the Ministry of Construction, which was the first product ever won such title. The Chinese Academy of Sciences Himin Solar Energy Laboratory has successfully conducted experiment of sunlight and solar heat collection and solar energy air-condition introduced three-high "solar core" world leading technology from Australia for production of three-high vacuum tubing (anti-high temperature, low temperature-proofing and high efficiency).
