The Guangxi Silk Group Co., Ltd. was formally founded in the 30th January 2007, its registered office is located in the center of Nanning, the capital city of Guangxi province, China, as a holding company limited by shares under the names of the Guangxi Silk Import and Export Co., owning 10% of it; the Guangxi Baohua Silk LLC., owning 35% of it; and the Guangdong Silk and Textile Group Co., Ltd. owning 55% of it, which is the largest shareholder among the three of them, its exports of textiles and garments rank first in Chinese silk and textile industry. Guangxi Silk has registered capital of 30 million Chinese Yuan. There are over 60 employed people who are managerial staffs engage in business and technical management. It has two subsidiary plants that have 21 sets of automatic silk reeling machine and approximately 1,300 employees.The general idea for Guangxi Silk to plan its 5- to 10-year development is:1.Gradually become a giant corporation taking cocoons, silk, textile goods producing and garments manufacturing as its mainstay.2.Regionally build up an integration platform for agriculture, industry and commerce.
