Company Description

Food Science Inc. is a bio-technology based enterprise established by D. Eng., Mr. J.H. Park in 2003 in Pohang, a southern city of South Korea. Pohang is home to POSCO (one of the top steel mills of the world) and its invested technical institute, POSTECH, where Dr. Park received his doctoral degree. Food Science Inc. attracted Investments from Keumkang Iron Steel Co. Ltd.(KOSDAQ) in 2006 and Korea Development Bank in 2007 in order to focus on the development for anti-cancer drug candidates.Food Science Inc. attracted Investments from Pohang MBC(Munwha Broadcasting) in 2009 in order to strengthen the marketing power for Morning Power . Food Science's technological competence has also been acknowledged by Korean government?s official certification. Morning Power is a patented hangover drink developed by Food Science as the first case of the technology transfer program from POSTECH. Utilizing the excellent effect of globefish protein to dissolve alcohol, Morning Power effectively improves the function of the alcohol-absorbed-liver with the strengthened synergy effects of several natural plant ingredients.Morning Power has won several prizes in exhibitions and fairs, and is being widely circulated through all convenience stores and supermarkets in Korea. Morning Power is exported to the Bulgaria, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, and Vietnam.
