DST was established June 2000 as a consultancy and trading company in Doha, Qatar, being its Chairperson Sheikh Salman Bin Ahmed Al Thani. The company centers its activities in these areas:-- Consulting Services for energy, infrastructure and industrial projects, representing as agents or working as consultants for international contractors such as IBERDROLA (See information below),GRUPO DRAGADOS, URBASER, ABENGOA, SOLUZIONA and INIZIATIVE INDUSTRIALI S.P.A.-- Industry; DST owns 51% of Dibelplas W.L.L, a Qatar plastic factory processing 500 tm. per month of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and a paid up capital of 4, 000, 000 Qatari Riyals. The factory is a Joint Venture with Plasbel, S.A. a leading European HDPE processor from Spain.-- Real State; Digesa owns and manages a business center building at the C-Ring road, one of the prime locations in Doha. A total 1, 800 M2 of office space is occupied by international companies.-- Official Trade Promotion Office; DST are the appointed United Arab Emirates & Qatar Business Development Office for the Foreign Trade Institute of Murcia, Spain INFO, and the Economic Development Institute of Asturias, Spain ASTUREX (See information below).-- Trading; The company has been acting in different areas such as oil & gas, construction, traffic enforcement, TV design, security and military fields. The groupâs latest venture is DST Installation and Maintenance Services, a company providing Air Conditioning and electromechanical installations services.
