Mother of pearl lacquerware is an object of craftwork by inlaying the shell pieces colored pearls in various forms of drawings or patterns on the lacquered chests or wooden plates inlaid by one of the lacquerware skills that decorate the surfaces of vessels or furniture by the shell of clamps, turban shells or abalones along with lacquering.
Mother of pearl lacquerware with its fineness and mystique has been in love for a long time as our own object of craftwork, and the lacquerware production having a delicate pattern-effect that shines like pearls in the coal-black requires the repetitive and precise handiwork with the materials from natural trees and abalones or turban shells native in deep sea, also lumber or feldspar and a variety of other materials, and complicated lacquering process.
