The Company was established in the 1950's specialising in the recycling of ferrous metals in Woodville near Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire and gained ISO9001 quality accreditation in 1990.Ward Recycling has an annual turnover in excess of £20m, employs over 100 people and operates a fleet of over 30 vehicles. Ward Recycling is commited to developing waste management and recycling techniques, saving their customers money and helping them to meet and exceed their recycling targets.We process over 30,000 tonnes of material each month and are a major supplier of recycled raw materials to a wide variety of industries both in the UK and worldwide. Ferrous and non ferrous scrap is delivered to steelworks and foundries worldwide.Recycled waste products are supplied to the construction, paper, wood and roadbuilding/landscaping sectors.As one of the largest independent metal recyclers in the United Kingdom, Ward Recycling handle in excess of 12,000 tons of ferrous and 100 Tons of non-ferrous metals per month with a market value ranging from £5 to £5,000 per ton.A nationwide collection service is provided for metal waste with our fleet of articulated trucks and both our Burton-on-Trent and Ilkeston sites are equipped with public weighbridges and the very latest 24hr CCTV security sytems for total peace of mind.The recycled metals are used in the manufacture of British steel, for the automotive and construction industries with a large percentage exported to countries such as China, USA, Spain and Turkey, helping to satify the global demand for raw materials.Ward Recycling are members of the
