This organisation was inspired and originated from a manufacturing company named Leverbrothers Nigeria Ltd. Established in the early 70s. Leverbrother Nigeria Ltd concentrate in the manufacturing of consumer good which is at a high competition here in Nigeria.

Diamondventures Ltd was established in 1997 to market both consumer and industrial goods but we concentrate most on industrial goods following our aims and objectives.

In 1998, we signed a three years contract with the Levertbrothers Nigeria Ltd to market some of there newly introduced product to the wide Nigerian market. On the commencement of the contract which is to market four newly introduced product to the Nigeria market while only five marketing Agent were chosen which my organisation was one of them. For successful execution of the contract we were given a minimum target of N2 billion annually and for us to meet up with this target the following support and conditions were given by the firm.

(1) Each of these products shall be marked - up by 25 percent because of the Advert placement.

(ii) On advertising and sales promotion: The firm shall spend a total of N10million to advertise its product in the electronic media, N5 million in the newspapers and another N5 million on sales promotions.

(iii) Distribution: The firm made an arrangement with its marketers to introduce sole distributors (Whole salers) Five each during the process of marketing that will buy a minimum of 5 million cartons of each product annually from different regions in the country.

(iv) Sales: With our marketing strategy which is as a result of our wide scope in marketing business, the firm intends to have a turnover of N2.2 billion in the first year with a growth rate of 20 percent per annum in the subsequent years.

Following all these rules and regulations given by the firm, to God be the Glory we were able to meet up with the target and my organisation was crowned as the best marketer they ever had in three years from June 21 1998 to June 21 2001.

Meanwhile, with these achievement, our arm has never been on marketing of locally manufactured product. Sincerely speaking, our line of Business Organisation and marketing concept dose not suite the marketing of locally manufactured goods because our organisation was established with the Sole aim of advertising and marketing of foreign product and act as a facilitating agents or institution here in Nigeria and Nigerians with there esteem love for foreign product, your product will be generally accepted in the Nigeria market coupled with our marketing strategy.

Our concentration on foreign industrial product was as a result of the exigency of Nigerians in foreign product and we will be very glad if you could give us the opportunity to market your product here in Nigeria and stand as your agent in the Nigerian market.
