Company Description

The southwest of the iberian peninsula, and concretely extremadura, establish the natural refuge of the merina ovine livestock of this peninsula.
Since the 27th of december 2001, comercial ovinos soc cooperativa limitada (scl) consists of seven ovine cooperatives in the region of extremadura, whose initial objective is the transformation and commercialization of wool.
At the present time comercial ovinos groups more than 850,000 heads of sheep and 1,500 producers.
The main activity of comercial ovinos scl, is the wool transformation and commercialization of wool.

Our products:

Top
-product description: Carded and combed fibres pulled into a continuous strip. Colour: White.
-technical characteristics: Fineness 23/25 microns, height (h) 54/57 mm. Weight of a 1 meter strip 25 grams.
-presentation:10,200,400 and 800 kg. Bumps, and 10 kg. Balls.
-destination/use: Worsted yarn.

Unwashed wool
-product description: Virgin greasy white wool.
-technical characteristics: Scouring yields of 50% (approx. ), with fineness of 22/25 microns and with heights (h) 52/57 mm.
-presentation: Pressed bales of 400 kg.
-destination/use: Scouring, carding and combing.

Noil
-product description: Short fibres coming from the combing process with vegetable matter remnants.
-technical characteristics: Fineness 22/25 microns.
-presentation:350 kg. Bales.
-destination/use: Carded fibre yarns.
