Changchun SinoBiomaterials Co., Ltd. was founded in April, 2007 as a high-tech enterprise. We are mainly engaged in the manufacture of biodegradable polymer materials for medical applications, as well as the development and industrialization of downstream products, such as L-lactide (L-LA), glycolic acid (GA), poly (L-lactic acid) (PLLA), poly (glycolic acid) (PGA), poly (caprolactone) (PCL), mono methoxyl poly (ethylene glycol)-b-poly(lactic acid) (MPEG-PLA), poly (D,L-lactide) (PDLLA) and their copolymers, as well as absorbable internal fixation devices for fracture including bone screws and bone plates, tissue engineering scaffolds for bone repair, materials for sustained drug delivery, etc.

Our company occupies an area of 10,000 square meters with the total investment of 33.55 million Yuan. There are an integrated experimental building and a production workshop in accordance with GMP standards, occupying 3,500 square meters. Over 90% of our employees hold college degrees. The main management staff members have studied aboard for years. They have profound scientific attainments and abundant experience in management. With the expertise in chemical, biological and medical fields, our main technical staff members have the strong product innovation and development capacity.

Our company is technically supported by Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (CIAC) and Chinese Academy of Sciences. The Science and Technology Innovation Centre for Poly (Lactic Acid)-Based Biodegradable Materials of Jilin Province and the Science and Technology Innovation Centre for Poly (Lactic Acid)-Based Biomaterials of Changchun City were founded jointly by SinoBiom and CIAC in 2007 and 2009 respectively. The foundation of these two research centers have been promoting the application of medical biodegradable polymer materials in the medicine field and continuing to promote the pace of industrialization with the goal of achieving the integration of the production and study & research.
