Bridge of Hope - Red Uniendo Manos

We are an ecumenical network made up of 14 community groups, churches and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) who believe that, in this era of globalization, it is important to work on the international level as well as local to have a real impact on the policies which define the context within which poor and marginalized people live.

Vision:
To construct wholistic and sustainable alternatives that address human development and poverty by globalizing solidarity efforts in the US and Peru.

Mission:
Joining Hands Against Poverty is an ecumenical network that accompanies and reinforces processes of participatory community development so that the most marginalized sectors of Peru become less marginalized and obtain a better quality of life.

Objectives:
To strengthen the capacities of local and participating institutions to work with base communities.
To develop a respect for human dignity through exercising fair democratic business practices.
To promote and accompany integral developing processes with local communities.
To enrich varied expressions of spirituality by promoting shared values through the construction of a common mission.
