Company Description
Brazil has the largest commercial cattle herd in the world. The variety and mixture of livestock breeds are other important factors for the quality of our hides. This variety results in different colors of hair on cowhide, and the amount enables us to provide a larger volume. In the leather and hides chain since 1987, we have wide market expertise, which allowed us to refine products to conquer the quality that we have today.
Black Leather Company is located in the city of Ivoti, Rio Grande do Sul, 55 km away from Porto Alegre. The company works with different products within the hides and leather industry, including hair on cowhide rugs, wet blue cattle hides, wet blue dropsplits, calf skins, wet salted cattle hides, gelatin raw material, so forth. Initially producing only wet blue hides and cowhide rugs, throughout its history the company has been adding to its production line other products to achieve the diversification it has today. In addition to sales in the domestic market, its products are exported to over 20 countries. Quality, excellence in management and service are characteristics that let us to and keep growing. Our main goal is our clients satisfaction, and, through our work, we have conquered more and more market.
