Baskent Kahve was established by the deceased Cevat Kaplan in Eminonu Hasircilar Bazaar at the beginning of 1950s and it realizes its activities in a 2800 m2 closed area at the factory it estaslished in 1996 in Buyukcekmece Kirac. In addition to its production of mainly the Turkish coffee, instant coffee (gold-classic) and coffee whitener, it realizes its production and filling the product groups of 3 in 1. cappuccino, hot chocolate, filter coffee, espresso in various format. Till beginning of 1990s it imported raw coffee beans from Brazil and it made wholesale and retail sale of the raw coffee beans, roasted coffee and grinded Turkish coffee. Upon the market demand in 1996s it added the instant coffee (gold-classic) and coffee whitener in its product range.


It has continued the production of its own brand MAGIC CUP and the Turkish Coffee brand OSMANLI as well as the PRIVATE LABEL production of the big domestic and foreign retail sale chains such as Carrefour, Dia, Migros, Sok, Gima, Kiler.


Baskent Kahve exports to the Middle East and European countries like England, Germany, France and also distributes to a wide mass by granting franchising and distribution rights under its own trademarks MAGIC CUP and OSMANLI to about 5 thousands sale points in all around Turkey.


Baskent Kahve , that has obtained a challenging position in the sector by growing rapidly since the beginning of 2000s and has never abandoned its healthy and high quality coffee production, established ISO 9001:2000 and HACCP systems in 2002 and obtained and registered Food Safety Management System ISO 22000:2005 certificate in 2007.


Baskent Kahve that gives priority to the customer satisfaction and ensures continuous development was deemed worthy of award in the coffee sector of 2004 year at the Istanbul Exhibition Organization where the best Private Label product, manufacturer and brand are elected every year.

Besides, it made cooperation with NESTLE that is the world leader of the coffee sector since 2004. By applying the Nestle quality and approaches in its production, it has developed its food safety system further.


Baskent Kahve brought the Austria origin Italian espresso brand Testa Rossa Coffee in Turkey and became a leader on that matter. With the Testa Rosa Coffee bars it has opened, it aims to expand this network through the Franchise system.
