Company Description

AXIS S.r.l. - Automation For Industrial Systems (AXIS S.r.l.) is an engineering company established in 1990 by a group of electronic engineers and technicians coming from a long experience in electronic companies operating in the automotive and military fields.

The activities initially started from the industrial field (PLC and numeric controls), and subsequently were focalized in the design and production of localizers and navigators (AVL, AVM, OBU) for professional vehicles fleets management activities (public transport, trucks, law enforcement)

Since 2002 AXIS has developed important activities in the inertial systems field producing two devices families; the first based on middle high performances sensors (MEMS), with reduced costs, dimensions and weight, the second based on very high performance sensors for more complex applications.

AXIS has produced, during these years, either its own products, or the design on behalf of its customers.

AXIS is compliance with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 since 2001, from September 2009 is compliant with UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 concerning the following scope:

Design, development and manufacturing of electronic apparatuses for positioning applications and land/sea/air navigation (certificate number 1194/A granted by CERTO S.r.l. Turin, the 3 September 2009).
